WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE SPANISH SCHOOL!

¡Hola! My name is Cristina and I am the founder and director of Spanish Desde Casa. I am a Spanish teacher specialized in children and teenagers.

I was born in Valencia, Spain. This city is located in the Mediterranean coast and it is the third biggest city in Spain.
I have a Degree in Early Childhood Education - Elementary Teacher from the University of Seville, Spain, and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Valencia, Spain.

I am also a certified ballet instructor and worked in a dance academy in Valencia for over 8 years. Dancing is one of my passions!
I decided to become a Spanish teacher when I met my husband on a trip to NYC in 2016. Traveling is another one of my passions! I've visited a lot of countries in Europe and also the USA and Canada.
I studied a Specialized Diploma in Methodology of Spanish as a Second Language from the Cervantes Institution.

After that, I taught in Spanish schools in Valencia and Toronto, Canada.

For the love of traveling and teaching I decided to become a full time, online Spanish teacher. After 3 years of experience, I started my own business: Spanish Desde Casa was created in January 2020.

Now I am a mom of two little girls and we currently live in Santa Barbara, California.
